Our Dream to Live ForeverOUR DREAM TO LIVE FOREVER
Another breeze hits me, causing my long, brown hair to flow along the current. The chill of the wind causes me to shiver and nuzzle more into my sweatshirt. I only sit here on this bench, watching the people pass by me, yet they don't even look at me, like I don't exist at all. I guess I'm just another person on this planet that wastes the air for people who are better than me. That is probably true. Really, nobody knows that my real name is Sally, instead they call me Seven. Yes it's that lucky number, but really I don't feel so special. People only call me Seven because of my birthday, seventh month and seventh day. Yet it doesn't mean that I am as lucky as the number claims that I am.
A leg hits mine and I look up to see a person in a rush, but he doesn't look back at me to apologize. Yeah man, just pretend I'm not here. Sometimes I wonder if I'm just that worthless to the world- that I'm just a rock in people's way. However, I wouldn't say I'm comple
They found usNothing, nothing rings in my ears. No sound, all I can hear is my thoughts. My eyes try to wander the room but nothing can be seen or shouldn't be since there are no lights on. I cover my nose as the unbearable smell of the smoke enters it. As I shifted slightly my other hand hits something cold making a shiver travel through my body.
Why now? Out of all the times, why should they use that hydrogen bomb? Sure it was nowhere near here but yet it still affected us. Now things are bad, stores are closed for whatever reason and now I'm stuck in my houses basement for who knows how long. I don't even know why we are down here, I guess to be safe if there's another attack. Another shiver travels again through my body at the thought of the bomb. What if it's closer to us? Would we be able to survive? I seriously need to stop thinking about this.
At a sound of a switch, lightness suddenly attacks my eyes. Covering with my forearm as my eyes adjusted. Slowly I began opening them and a voice ent
His Angel [sequel to 'Those Four Words']
Natasha closed her eyes and inhaled deeply. He was here. Finally.
She had been waiting for him.
His voice was deeper than she'd remembered, but it definitely had that same husky ring to it, and the words rolled off his tongue smoothly, as usual.
"Clint," she whispered, her voice steady. She had been preparing herself for this for over a year - of course she had. She knew that one day, they would meet again.
It was inevitable.
"How long has it been?" She asked nostalgically, staring out at the view in front of her. She and Clint, both of them were on the roof of a 70 storey-high building, the door to the roof kicked shut by Clint. There was no question about this situation - that day, one of them would live.
The other would die.
"2 years, perhaps," Clint responded nonchalantly, examining his bow closely. He looked up, his characteristic smirk plastered all over his face. "Me and you together again. Just like old times, huh Nat?"
Natasha couldn't help but smile slightly. It had
The Avengers: A Baby's Day"Hey! I wanted to beat him!"
"Yeah, well... me too! And I got him first."
"Hulk!" young Steve Rogers yelled. He was playing with action figures with Tony. Steve was about to knock the Loki action figure off the tall play-building with his own figurine when Tony picked it up. Then he used his action figure to beat up the Loki one instead.
"What, Steve? And for the last time, my name is Bruce," Bruce Banner said in annoyance. He was the oldest of the Avengers, being twelve, and he was their father (in a way). He was the one the other four and five-year-olds complained to and depended on.
"Tony's being mean!"
"I am not."
"Okay, that's enough! Steve, what happened?"
"Tony took Loki away from me."
Bruce was confused for a second, then he saw the toy in Tony's hand.
"Tony... Did you take Steve's toy?"
"No! He didn't take him, so I took him and beat him up."
"Yeah, but I wanted to beat him!"
"Steve, maybe Tony wanted to beat him, too--"
The Avengers: Security Cameras And DecisionsLoki was sitting in his 'special' cell on S.H.I.E.L.D.'s heli-carrier. He was recently defeated by The Avengers. He was disappointed, but was extremely annoyed with what they had to do to him. They put him in hand restraints and attached a muzzle on his mouth. Loki thought the gag was a little much. I mean, what did they think he was going to do? Talk them to death?
'This is ridiculous,' thought Loki. He leaned his head back onto the transparent cell and sighed into the gag.
Loki decided to lay down and possibly get some shut eye before The Avengers sent him off. He laid on his side and brought his arms as far as he could up to his face. This wasn't the best looking position, but it was the most comfortable Loki could manage. He closed his eyes and hoped to drift off to sleep.
Thor was walking through the halls; he got random congratulations from S.H.I.E.L.D. agents while he walked. He smiled and thanked them, but he had something other than celebration on his mind...
